How the digestive system works is it starts working before you even start taking the first bite of food. And it start working on your chewing of your food for the next few hours or sometimes days depending on what you have eaten. This process is called digestion allows the body to get its nutrients and energy it needs from the food you eat. Digestive begins when you smell tasty food starting with Saliva. When you eat Saliva breaks down the chemicals which makes the food mushy and easy to swallow. Your tongue helps push the food around.
Respiratory System
The primary function of the respiratory system is to supply the blood with oxygen in order for the blood to deliver oxygen to all parts of the body. The respiratory does this through breathing. When we breathe, we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. This exchange means getting oxygen to our blood. Respiration is achieve through the mouth, nose, trachea, lungs, and diaphragm. Oxygen enters the respiratory system through the mouth and nose.
Circulatory System
The circulatory system has three major parts which is the heart, the blood, and the blood vessels. The circulatory system is responsible for transporting materials throughout the entire body. Its transports nutrients, water, and oxygen. The circulatory system is made up of the vessels and the muscles that helps and control the flow of the blood around the body. This process is called circulation.
Nervous System
The system is divided into two main systems, the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. The spinal cord and the Brain make the central nervous system. The peripheral nervous system is made up of all nerves and the wiring.
Muscular System
The main function of the muscular system is to provide movement for the body. The muscular system makes up nearly half the weight of the body, which sometimes we put weight on instead of losing it. We put on muscles weight. The muscles provide the force for the body to move. Our muscles work in groups to have a response in the muscular system.
Skeletal System The skeletal system is made up of all of your bones in the body tissues such as tendons. Skeletal system has three major jobs. One it protects our vital organs such as the brian, the heart, and the lungs. Two it gives us the shape we have now. Three it allows us to move. Because our muscles are attached to our bones. The skeleton has around 350 bones when your born, by the time you become a adult you will have 206 bones because the body grows.
